20  Questions to Ask A Dj Before Hiring:
Well Managed Time
As a bride and groom, not knowing how to manage your time during the reception can be pretty common. For instance, after the grand entrance immediately have your best man and maid of honor speeches done. This assures that everyone is paying attention and are  still in thier seats getting ready to eat.  It will also assure that they noone has left before they get thier big moment to share thier thanks for the honor you gave them to be a big part of your special day. Next have your meal.  Typicallly the head table and the immediate tables are the first to be served. This helps make sure they are done  when you are ready  to start your dances. Once your meals are done do your first dance. This saves time because while some guests might still be eating the dance  floor is empty and you get to be the first on it and it allows your photographers to take pictures of this special moment before they leave. Next have a dance that includes your bridal party and  halfway through invite the rest of your guests on the dance floor to join you.  You can do whatever other traditional dances you might want to add such as a dollar dance while everyone is still in slow dance mode. Once your dances are done you can cut your cake. This leaves you time to make sure everyone has completed thier main course and are ready for cake and gives you a chance to slow down a bit before the party picks up. This also leaves you time to mingle throughout while cake is being served so you vist your guests as they are seated back at thier tables. After the dances and the cake cutting you can do your bouquet  & garter toss. This assures you get all of your traditional portions of your wedding completed in time so your photographer or vidoegrapher  does not have any missed opportunites,  since they typically do not stay until the end of the reception. So at this point, if you are a couple that likes to boogie and get down with your family and friends, all of your formal dances and events will be done and you will now be able to kick this party up a notch and have fun. This is time well managed.
